NOT for use in USA

I have one like this, the seller doesn't tell me how to use it, that's the problem. I assumed it was a 220 volt AC unit but from where I've seen it is a European 220 volt AC unit meaning it uses a 1-220 volt branch, while in the US we use 2 110 volt branches so I can use this I need a transformer to step up my 115 volt 40 amp to 220 volt 20 amp to make it run.
