Monitor cooking anywhere in the home with this thermometer. It also proves helpful for better understanding the accuracy of your furnace. Unfortunately, most ovens are not that accurate. We suspected ours was off because the recipes almost never allowed enough time to fully cook the food, or maybe the temperature was off. Turns out our oven was 40F too low. So baking at 350F on the dial was closer to 310F. Turning the knob to 390F solved this problem!
