Several recent reviews have indicated that the improved version of this item includes a tripod mounting hole. I ordered this product and was very disappointed that it is NOT true. I contacted Qooltek and informed them of the problem. Although it wasn't their fault at all (obviously they don't control what people say in their reviews) they were very understanding and sent me a replacement straight away. To save others from my mistake, this item has NO tripod mounting hole.
