I love this project with my 8 year old and this is our very first embroidery project. I didn't really know where to start so we watched some YouTube videos and it helped us start on the right foot without feeling lost. You need to separate the embroidery thread that we learned. When we tried to share the thread it didn't share the thread properly and it was a little tedious and confusing leading me to think it probably wasn't the best thread. Regardless, we're off to a great start and learning the craft, and this set will help us with that. I recommend it and from here we will probably look for the best yarn and make our own patterns. The tires work well. The instructions are only so-so quality.
