I've used two of these to connect a high amp PWM (pulse width modulation) motor fan and I'm very happy with their performance. According to the Hella website, the amperage for this relay is 22 amps at maximum operating temperature. Use multiple relays in parallel to give your devices a maximum operating current of +15%. My fan draws 35 amps so I used two 44 amp relays. (35A + 15% = 40.25A) This relay fits into a standard socket and the pins are numbered the same as a standard relay, but the wiring is different. 30 = Battery + (High Current) 87 = Load (High Current) 85 = Ground (Low Current) 86 = Switched Ground (Low Current)
