This towel saved our lives at Disney World when the weather was 98 degrees. When I traveled to Florida in June with a 6 year old and a heat intolerant 12 year old, I knew we needed something to help the kids feel comfortable and happy. These towels have served their purpose. When the kids got hot (5 minutes after we left the hotel room) they wrapped them around their necks, pressed them against their foreheads etc. These towels do a magical job of keeping them cool to the touch for at least a couple of hours. A quick rinse in the sink will reactivate and refresh you. When we got to the hotel we washed them in soapy water and hung them out to dry. They dry like cardboard, but rinsing with water turns them back into a soft towel. Every morning I would put them in a quart-sized zip-lock bag and carry them in my purse until the kids needed them (which was usually right away!). Fantastic product!
