Review on Mopar 4295875AC Transmission Pan 🧽 Gasket - Ultimate Seal for Top Performance by Vincent Burton

Dakota '98 4x4 5.2L with 44RE Transmission. I think it might actually be my truck's '97 transmission as it uses a fine FT1039 ATF filter. Revain's fitting instructions state that this gasket will not work with my gearbox, but after some research and comparing pictures with an additional cork gasket I figured it would fit and work perfectly. It's only been a few days and so on. there is no leak, but even an old cork gasket wouldn't hurt. Time will tell, but my first impression is that this gasket design is much better than the cork and rubber gaskets I've tried in the past. It's probably reusable too. Be sure to torque the 14 bolts to 13 ft/lb when installing the pallet. The Dorman 265-839 Transmission Pan is a great replacement when you need a pan with a drain plug. It's deeper than my oil pan but still fits with no problem, just needs to add about another liter of ATF.
