Review on 💻 Upgrade Adapter Card for MacBook Air 2010-2011 with Sintech M.2 NGFF SSD 18Pin by Paul Walters

I had to add a second washer to the back of the adapter to attach the WD Blue m.2 SSD to this adapter because the screws are too long to fit both on the fit fit. I had to tape kapton tape to the motherboard to protect it from the bottom screw while extending it with a second washer so the top screw would secure the SSD to the standoff. I had to attach Kapton tape to protect the SSD from shorting to the backplate. There is a slight bulge after attaching the backplate. Consider insulating the SSD before tightening the backplate.
