Review on 🌞 Enhanced SUNLU Filaments: Upgraded and Compatible for Superior 3D Printing by Dylan Deng

Works great I think I need more of these

I usually try to take good care of my filaments but there are days I forget to take it out of the printer after printing. Now I finally have something that can help revive him. Even if I store all my filament with a desiccant, it doesn't fix the problems I've already encountered. I bought one of these filament dryers to see if my prints improve. As a test, I took an old spool of PLA filament I had from 2015 and baked it overnight. I actually looked at the instruction manual to find out what temperature and duration is needed. It was pretty easy to set everything up. To my surprise, this thing was really important. It's hard to convince anyone that yarn absorbs moisture from the air until it happens to them. This is a way to narrow down one of the causes of bad printing. Instead of wondering why everything printed fine last time, you now know the filament isn't to blame. The reason I want more than one of these is so I can do multiple tasks at the same time. I have 3 printers and usually a maximum of 2 work at the same time. So I would use 2 dryers to keep my thread intact and a 3rd to prepare for the next color or boxing. So far I like this filament dryer and it does everything I expected. Do it. My only complaint is the pulleys that the thread sits on. I'm glad the wheels have ball bearings, but I wish they were a little bigger so they roll a little smoother. I would also like a suitable connection on the dryer so that I can connect the Teflon hose to the printer. In addition, this dryer looks and feels very durable.

Pros
  • 3D printing filaments
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
