SO BIG. Go through the whole cell. This branch is not for small cells. It's a nice perch for my sweetheart, but it's really smooth. As in. So slippery that he couldn't stand on it at all and kept falling off. *Note: add a pillow under the branch for the bird to land on. OR just sand it down to be less slippery, which works much better. I later cut it up with scissors so my love hasn't fallen away from it since. I like the thread but it's too much extra work to warrant anything better than 3 stars.
