Natural Branch for Cockatiels, Parakeets, and Finches - Wild Harvest P-84137 Review

This is a great price compared to the store where they can easily double the price. They go well with my canaries and look very pretty.

I only use real wood branches on my lovebird. She is very happy in her cage with them. she loves to play and it's easy for her to pick it up and get attached.

I added this perch to my bird cage and the parrots love it. It has different widths throughout the branch which is great for their feet and they love to nibble on it!

Couldn't be cheaper (think I paid about $3?) The one I got looks like a tree branch in the picture. At first I couldn't tell what kind of wood it was until I cleaned it - it wasn't dirty. I wash all new perches. Mine is Javawood. I'm not sure if they are all like that. The bark is abraded and the surface is not too smooth and appears to have adequate traction. Good price for a basic perch. Might get a few more.

SO BIG. Go through the whole cell. This branch is not for small cells. It's a nice perch for my sweetheart, but it's really smooth. As in. So slippery that he couldn't stand on it at all and kept falling off. *Note: add a pillow under the branch for the bird to land on. OR just sand it down to be less slippery, which works much better. I later cut it up with scissors so my love hasn't fallen away from it since. I like the thread but it's too much extra work to warrant anything better than 3…

These branches are amazing for the price. At the pet store, they easily cost 2-3 times as much. I have ordered a few of these and am very happy with the size, quality and durability of all of them. They're actually smooth, but the great thing about wood is that you can score and cut it however you like! I will definitely be buying more for other home projects in the future or even replacing them when they no longer look as good because they are so cheap.
