Bought for my 14 year old Maine Coon who has arthritis. I chose this one from many others at Revain as it seemed a little cheaper but still had the qualities of a safety cord and came with two covers so you can wash one while the other is in use. I put a blanket under my cat's regular sleeping blanket and she loved it. She hasn't moved from a warm place under the covers in several hours! I can say that it comforts and soothes her joints. She must have felt the warmth coming from the pillow because yesterday she sat directly on the lining with an expectant expression she wanted to turn on. I'm very glad I bought it and I regret not having bought it sooner.
