Bought this battery to replace the stock Li-Ion battery in the Roomba 960. The capacity of the replacement battery is 4800mAh much higher than the stock 1800mAh. I was a little apprehensive about using a battery with a different chemistry as the charging characteristics are different. On the standard battery, Roomba will vacuum for about an hour and then dock back to charge before continuing. At the end of the standard battery life, the battery will be depleted before Roomba can return to the docking station. With a battery swap, Rooma ran for 2 hours and did an entire floor of my house on a single charge. So far, so good. Hopefully the replacement battery will last at least a few years. Update: I've had this battery for over 14 months now and it's still working fine. Impressed that the inexpensive NIMH battery lasts a long time and lasts much longer than the lithium ion battery iRobot supplied.
