These blades are acceptable for children upon arrival. There is no edge on any of them. Good thing I got a whet stone just days before I picked these up. Seemed to take an edge just fine.I do like high carbon steel. This type of steel should take an edge great, but will rust over time. The rust will knock off easily with a few swipes on the whet stone. So this is a great value. A bit of work on my end however.
