The strike plate is sharp and cuts into clothing easily

this black lever adds a modern pretty look to your door. However the strike plate edge is so sharp that it tore into our clothing on the first day hanging, and caused a lot of damage. i had to temporarily cover all strike plates in my entire house with tape (i bought these handles for all my interior doors) until we find other ones to fit exactly as a replacement. very disappointed!
