Mine got to -5 with the needle alone. Shit. There is no way to calibrate. As a result, I opened everything up and started looking for some kind of calibration screw. Nothing. The needle is glued to the shank, which points to zero when at rest, with AC glue. Spring. I unclipped the needle and cup and re-glued them, pointing AC to zero. Who knows, maybe I screwed something up. To hell with the warranty and also the manufacturer. I will test the sensor with a calibrated vacuum source that I have in my work lab. If it differs by more than a click, I'll throw it away. Definitely stay away from this crap. Please listen to me. If a measuring tool cannot be calibrated, it is useless. Stay away. you have been warned
