My son was begging me to get a Rubik's cube for him, but we discovered this set of cubes. They weren't "name brand" but the reviews seemed positive so I went for it.They are all excellent quality. I've had a variety of cubes of varying qualities when I was growing up. The worst part for these kinds of puzzle cubes is when they are stiff and don't turn easily. NOT the case here. Each of these cubes turns effortlessly. Well, maybe except the largest one, which is sometimes tough to get aligned correctly before turning. Otherwise, the other 4 are easy to manipulate.The included instructions were very helpful. They are a little tough to figure out, but once we got used to them we could easily solve any of the cubes (with patience of course).My son is super excited now, since he's able to solve the 2x2 from memory. He's looking forward to trying one of the bigger ones next.Overall, excellent. Would buy them again.
