Review on Milton S 506 Original Chuck Inflator by Patrick Ross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

nice but a little work

good fittings, good sealing on the valve, replacement parts are available. I'll probably end up passing it on to my kid. However, there are some issues that come out of the box. The inside of the hose guide is VERY sharp. I filed the edge and sanded it. I wrapped a few turns of rubber on the inner tube to make it tighter. gague was three pounds short and it's a pain to adjust. You can unscrew the end cap, pull out the two spacers, pull out the sensor. (Note which way it goes). There is a locking screw at the end, remove it. by turning the inner screw, the dimension is lowered/adjusted downwards. My set screw wasn't tightened, that's probably why I had to recalibrate. it took several attempts. I had to turn the sensor counter-clockwise when reseating it, so when tightening the outer screw it rotates just below the window.

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • Expensive
