Lysine (but not this particular product) was recommended to me by my vet who said it could help my cat recover and to cope with her chronic illness symptoms related to her chronic respiratory virus. My kitty didn't like the lysine chewables on the market so we tried the powder. We mix it in her wet food in the morning and she seems to love it. No problem and she licks every last drop. - After a course of antibiotics and then for about a month her symptoms seem to have improved and have not returned yet so I'm optimistic Lysine is helping.
