Good for my Sphynx

I switched my Sphynx to this because he refused to eat the chewable form of lysine. I add it to her food but she doesn't notice. Disappears with water (she eats canned food). It seems to work better than chewable tablets. (She has feline herpes). I really can't comment on how it tastes because I haven't tried it, but it doesn't smell and she eats it without hesitation, so I don't think it affects the taste of her food.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Unreliable

gives food an odd texture

That's what I was hoping for. The dosage is super high and no other ingredients are added. but my cats just can't handle it and I can't blame them. I mix it with a churu treat for one of my cats and it makes the treat so sticky that my cat has to stop and get some water. I mixed it into her regular wet food for another cat and she doesn't like the consistency. I can tell when I mix it up it just looks so gross. I don't smell anything so I'm guessing it has no flavor but it comes back.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Poor instructions

INCREASED SYMPTOMS: Multivitamins

This made my cat's herpes worse. So much worse. I gave it to her for several months thinking maybe for some reason she was just more stressed or weathered. I was away for 2 days for Christmas and when I came back her eyes looked a little better. I stopped giving her and it's only been about a week, her eyes are almost clear, she doesn't sneeze constantly. Wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately I missed the return deadline. Due to the pain this has caused my cat I really want a refund.

  • handy thing

Waste of Money: Multivitamins

I couldn't get my hands on the L-lysine powder I usually use, so I decided to try this one. I can't tell you it works because none of my cats eat it. I usually mix it with their wet breakfast, but right after I started using this brand, I noticed that they don't even eat their favorite foods. I finally plucked up the courage to try the powder. No wonder they don't touch him. Tastes like a mixture of baking soda and crushed aspirin. I still can't find a powder they like, so I ordered gummy…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Lysine (but not this particular product) was recommended to me by my vet who said it could help my cat recover and to cope with her chronic illness symptoms related to her chronic respiratory virus. My kitty didn't like the lysine chewables on the market so we tried the powder. We mix it in her wet food in the morning and she seems to love it. No problem and she licks every last drop. - After a course of antibiotics and then for about a month her symptoms seem to have improved and have not…

The thing works! Best in Health Products

After 2 long trips in 6 months, my kitty started having problems with sneezing, runny nose and runny nose. She was unhappy. From a human point of view, she had a symptom of an allergy. I couldn't reach my vet unless I wanted to sit and wait 4-5 hours which I couldn't because of work. I take L-lysine for my immune system and have seen this product claiming to help with all the symptoms my poor kitty was having. She ate well but was lethargic and wanted to be hugged all the time. I knew these…
