I switched my Sphynx to this because he refused to eat the chewable form of lysine. I add it to her food but she doesn't notice. Disappears with water (she eats canned food). It seems to work better than chewable tablets. (She has feline herpes). I really can't comment on how it tastes because I haven't tried it, but it doesn't smell and she eats it without hesitation, so I don't think it affects the taste of her food.

That's what I was hoping for. The dosage is super high and no other ingredients are added. but my cats just can't handle it and I can't blame them. I mix it with a churu treat for one of my cats and it makes the treat so sticky that my cat has to stop and get some water. I mixed it into her regular wet food for another cat and she doesn't like the consistency. I can tell when I mix it up it just looks so gross. I don't smell anything so I'm guessing it has no flavor but it comes back.

This made my cat's herpes worse. So much worse. I gave it to her for several months thinking maybe for some reason she was just more stressed or weathered. I was away for 2 days for Christmas and when I came back her eyes looked a little better.
