This device produces really high speeds. The network is now limited by how fast a computer can process data, not by connection speed. However, at least once a day, sometimes two or three times, it simply loses connection and the only way to come back is to do a power-down reboot. I checked if it is the latest firmware, so there is no solution there. That might be fine for the average user, but I store all my data on a NAS device and most programs don't respond well if the connection drops for a while. UPDATE 7th June 2017 their tech support folks and trying a few different options. They sent a new replacement unit and a return label for the old one. However, the new one is just as unreliable as the first. When it's running it's great, but it randomly disconnects and turns the device off and on again to reset it. It's a pain to try and use. Try at your own risk.
