Fenders were for the front wheels of a 2001 Ford F-150 4x4 pickup. We press them against the wheel arches and they fit perfectly. The problem was that small metal clips were designed to slide along the edge of the existing fender. Unfortunately the mounting holes were too far in and the clips didn't have enough neck to reach them. As a mechanical specialist I was able to get it working and they are quite strong. The plastic they're made of is pretty thick and should take a beating. They protrude more from the top of the wing than I would like. This prevents more water from getting on the doors, but looks a bit odd.
