Will not fit as advertised for use on a 1997 Ford F-150

Molded fenders to fit Ford F-150 advertised. The contours of the Mud Gard and the truck's fenders do not match. I cut them to make them as good as possible but they look like hell.

Fender is unusable as a fender

Bought these to protect the factory footpegs from dirt. Dosent don't seem to do this at all. If it's not just about looks, I'd stay away from it. The photos shown are from the driver's side without, from the passenger's side with. In any case, this one is worse. Useless product.

For TRUCKS WITH OEM FENDER EXTENSIONS!

I ordered a set of these (and backrests) for my 03 f150. The Revain installation guide says they will fit and I didn't see any mention in the product definition that it's for trucks that have Ford fender flares which I don't have. Therefore they will NOT fit trucks WITHOUT FENDER EXTENSIONS! Also, the quality seemed top notch as far as I could tell and of course the shipping and service (and return service) from Revains are excellent as always. Just make sure you know they don't fit without…

Husky Liners for 98 Ford F150 4x4

I was able to install these guards in minutes and they look great. My advice to anyone ordering them is not to use the screws provided to attach them to your car. They break or just won't tighten, and the space behind the valve is so tight you'll never get the nut in. Go to any auto parts store and buy a pack of black plastic single ended fasteners used for door panels etc. Drill a hole and insert the fastener into the hole, or use a small hammer and hammer it in. They will NEVER break up!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Fits great but direction and components are not quite right

Fenders were for the front wheels of a 2001 Ford F-150 4x4 pickup. We press them against the wheel arches and they fit perfectly. The problem was that small metal clips were designed to slide along the edge of the existing fender. Unfortunately the mounting holes were too far in and the clips didn't have enough neck to reach them. As a mechanical specialist I was able to get it working and they are quite strong. The plastic they're made of is pretty thick and should take a beating. They…
