Didn't work for us. We are a CPA tax preparer and keep 2 perforated copies in our office files. The paper guide to the upper stamp of our copies is almost non-existent. We actually had to cut out a piece of cardboard and glue it to the rail to make it work. Again, this wasn't ideal, as the pages moved slightly, so not all pages lined up exactly. We were too busy to send it back and order another model so we survived tax season with this Swingline 2 punch. I just ordered a Sparco 96003. It is also a 2 or 3 hole punch.
