Working as intended. - Starter
I use them to control LED lights in a closet. I have magnetic reed switches on the cabinet doors and LED strips on the inside of the cabinet frame. Reed switches can only handle 200MW of power, while LED strips draw more. Relays also allow one of the two doors at the front of the cabinet to turn on the light when either of them is open. These relays are ideal for this application.
