I used these to replace the old relays in my winch's contactor box. I had to cut the tabs (no big deal) to fit the original case, but they fit the wiring harness perfectly and worked great.

I'm sure they work fine but I couldn't use them due to the pen size. and 3/8" pins. My fault for not paying attention to the photo when ordering.

Works well so far. They appear to be well built. I use them to control the Taurus two speed electric fan in my car. The previous speed relay has failed. These new 80A relays do what they're supposed to.

Super, 3/8 Clamps! I use this to run an electric fan on my truck. Pass through earth instead of current. The last (smaller) relay burned out internally. I am switching to a pulse modulation controller after running this relay for 1 year. I open it and check the contacts inside.

perfect matches can be difficult because the device often doesn't have the right reference material and you often have to calculate an estimate to the right application. In this case the function was expected, but the hull was slightly different and installation required "farm machinery".

I use them to control LED lights in a closet. I have magnetic reed switches on the cabinet doors and LED strips on the inside of the cabinet frame. Reed switches can only handle 200MW of power, while LED strips draw more. Relays also allow one of the two doors at the front of the cabinet to turn on the light when either of them is open. These relays are ideal for this application.

I've read a lot on the internet about how to solve the problem with a winch that either clicks, won't retract/rewind the cable (or both) or doesn't make any noise at all. The BEST answer is to connect the 12V power supply (with jumpers) directly to the wires on the MOTOR. if the engine is running, the engine is fine. Note; Doesn't matter (+) or (-), swap the wires and it should spin the motor in the opposite direction. If your motor is fine (as above) it is most likely a relay in a case…

Just what I needed to repair the Harbor Freight "Badlands" ATV winch. This pair of relays was a direct replacement for the relay in the winch junction box. Just take the old relays out and put the new ones in. Make sure to correctly assemble the connectors of the smaller coils; Maybe take a picture before you swap the relays so they are in the right place. One final tip: each replacement relay has a plastic mounting tab that can make it difficult to fit into a small junction box. You can just…
