I've read a lot on the internet about how to solve the problem with a winch that either clicks, won't retract/rewind the cable (or both) or doesn't make any noise at all. The BEST answer is to connect the 12V power supply (with jumpers) directly to the wires on the MOTOR. if the engine is running, the engine is fine. Note; Doesn't matter (+) or (-), swap the wires and it should spin the motor in the opposite direction. If your motor is fine (as above) it is most likely a relay in a case attached to the motor. Remove a few screws and you will see a pair of relays (this item). Taking photos. Relay specs and compare to Revain. Very easy to switch!
