Review on DEWALT DW7028 Miter Extension Support by Jordan Perez

After reading the other reviews I almost didn't buy this stand. But I decided that if they didn't work I would return them and keep looking. I have a DWX723 miter saw stand (full size that extends to 150 inches) and love it. great job supporting the 12" Milwaukee slider I installed on it. Not an easy saw. I often have to cut 12ft and longer lumber and/or moldings so extensions are good but sometimes need more support when fully extended to support 2x lumber. I bought 2 of these thinking if they were short I could at least put something underneath to make them tall enough. Anyway when they arrived I put them on a stand and they were just the right height. I'm not sure if Dewalt has changed these since the other reviews were written, but they seem to have fixed the issue now, and they're adding nice solid support to the extensions. If you are not on a flat surface, you will need to put something under the support. as there is no way to make minor adjustments if required for an uneven surface. This would be a nice support improvement. In general, I am very satisfied with the support leg. I've never been a huge Dewalt fan, but over the past year or two I've found more yellow stuff in my truck. I think they are definitely making some important improvements and innovations to their products and the quality is really getting a lot better than ever.
