Review on 🎂 CubicFun Lighting Birthday Puzzle - Dutchman by Charlie Wilson

I want to start putting something like this together for the first time. I think many people who got this amazing ship have bought cube ship or jigsaw puzzle before and know what to expect. Still, I found it a great time collecting. So much so that I had trouble stopping to eat or do anything because I didn't want to stop until the ship was ready! My fiance put the bones of the ship together and then we had dinner and he wanted to do something different so I finished the rest of the ship myself. I kept thinking what a cool gift this would be for someone. Seriously, what a great gift idea! All the instructions are in pictures and being a visual person I found that very wonderful. As a few reviewers have pointed out, I found the use of glue helpful in several places. I just had Elmer's glue on hand so I used it and I can't see where I used the glue. However, I recommend waiting a bit before using the glue. Some parts will not become strong until they are fixed by other parts after a few steps. What comes to mind is the wooden walkway you put in front of the cannons. Mine didn't hold up very well until the railing was attached, at which point no glue was needed. The Cubicfun logo you use as a hole punch is cool. I later discovered that a toothpick is even better at punching small holes. I found everything popped out of the boards very well, but I was careful not to tear anything. The good news is that you work on the inside of the ship first. If you make a small mistake at the beginning, it won't be noticed. Assembling this ship gets progressively more difficult and tedious, but it's fun, especially watching it come to life right before your eyes. LEDs, as others have mentioned, really make this special. Finally, I will share why I bought this. I'm having a pirate wedding this October! I saw this and thought it would make a great table decoration! I'm definitely getting warm! So I'm going to buy at least one more ship now, haha. It's well worth the time it takes to put it together and finally I'd like to thank the graphic designers who created the artwork for this item. It's superbly detailed with shells and a skeleton hanging in the deck!
