Damn good for $38

I see some negative reviews but I think perspective is needed. It's $38. Delivery to your door is free. They are heavy gauge steel and the rollers roll and spin well. Yes. The instructions and the quality of the hardware could be better, but that's nothing a good DIYer can't handle. I had zero problems. I haven't had any problems with my screws, but you could use better quality screws. These are Phillips head screws and you will need to pre-drill and possibly wax them prior to installation. I stuck them in 4x4 pine so all that was needed was a little pre-drilling. If you try to skip pre-drilling, expect the screw head to shear off. Use higher quality screws if you just want to secure it. Installation was easy. Cut the bottom of the template along the cutting line. Stick it to the bottom of the bench. (I used a bottle jack to raise one side of my workbench at a time for easier installation). Pre-drill the top two holes and install the bracket. Drill other holes and install screws. Place the forearm with the edges facing up. The lower arm takes a longer screw. Install roller. Assemble the upper arm. Repeat for the other three bench legs. I used a small impact tool with a 19mm roller socket. For screws you need a size 10 head and a wrench. Just throw the tools from this set in the trash. After all, it seems to be quite durable. I use this to hold my CNC machine and table. Probably 300# or so. The levers stick out about 7 inches, so keep that in mind. At $38 if you know what to expect this is a steal!
