Judging by the reviews I had high hopes for these speakers. There are several issues with the product. 1) I had to set a quick disconnect for the volume control, that's how my bike is set up. The wire is so thin it takes a surgeon to solder it. It's probably 32AWG if I had to guess. It was pretty pathetic to put together. 2) The volume control is actually backwards. Turn counterclockwise to increase the volume. With? 3) When you turn on the bike, a very unpleasant beep comes out of the speakers. I usually go to work at 5:30 am and it's rude to expose the neighbors to such noise. I haven't found a way to turn it off. 4) The sound quality from my iPhone through the Lightning connector was terrible. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile but I like the quality. Those speakers aren't there. In general, for $80 I'm not surprised but disappointed. Unfortunately I would not recommend this.
