I use this as a craft tool and for small repairs around the house. I've transitioned to this one from a small low heat ad tech model that was around $20 at Walmart. I was amazed how quickly it worked and how many sticks he could swallow and how little rest I had to give my gun. I've only used the gun for about 20 hours in the last few months. I don't know how long it will last or how it will be maintained but so far it's great. I've also avoided burning myself so far, even minimally, but it's pretty clear the glue this can produce is getting ridiculous. hot. I suppose if I had to give negative feedback it would be that maybe a tenth of a fluid ounce of hot glue would leak out of the nozzle once I put it in and let it sit for a while. However, it's likely that this is user error, either the tip unscrewed, or I left the setting too hot, or I left the gun at an angle, or some other explanation. I'm excited about this weapon. As this is a rarely used crafting tool, I find it defies my expectations. I cannot speak of any professional or widespread use of these weapons.
