I like that it works independently with my 2011 BMW X5. That means the car's Bluetooth system still works fine for phone calls while this thing takes care of streaming music from my phone. If you feel the music sounds like hot junk, just turn down the volume on your phone and use car volume to turn up the volume. The sound is quite acceptable, especially after adjusting the car's equalizer. For audiophiles, this type of gadget may never be good enough. But at this very low price I think it's worth it for the rest of us. Hope that helps.
