I bought it for my EOS M5. The photos are incredible. Sharp, low coma, little distortion, even wide open at f2. This lens is great for astrophotography with such a large aperture. The Milky Way is a composite of three wide open landscapes at ISO 1600 at 20 seconds in the Mojave Desert on a clear day but the bright moon was to the right. . The Joshua Tree was shot at f/2.8, ISO 1250 and a shutter speed of 20 seconds. I don't remember the aperture of the rest, but they were shot in the f5.6 - f8 range (the stream was shot with an ND-10 filter). ) This lens turned my EOS M into something I didn't believe in. The M-series isn't known for its good dynamic range and low-light performance, but the small aperture of this lens meant it worked well in the dark. I love this lens and it's cheap! I bought mine used from Adorama and it is in excellent condition.
