I bought a 2019 TCL Roku TV 65s525 a few weeks ago. This remote worked right out of the box (no programming required) as an extra remote. All I had to do was add 2 AAA batteries and I was done. Now we have 2 remote controls that work at the same time (one for each bedside table). It seemed a little firmer (a little heavier) to us compared to the original. The only other difference is the shortcut buttons on the original remote compared to this remote. They have different channels but they worked as labeled. All buttons have been checked for functionality and alignment. A+. If there are any issues with strength and durability I will update this review.
