Review on 🔥 Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate: Optimize Engine Performance and Cooling Efficiency by Darryel Tokarczyk

The sandwich panel is very well finished. I replaced the thermostat with a higher temperature unit (93°C, 200°F), which was very easy. The sandwich panel was also very easy to install, much easier than removing the factory unit. You shouldn't have any problems if you have permission to do so. I also installed the temperature sensor at the same time as the transmitter included in this sandwich and I can see the sandwich panel is working fine. Oil temp stayed between 180F and 200F (that's with the optional 200F thermostat) while cruising very smoothly through cobbled streets as well as highway speeds. A spirited ride resulted in a maximum oil temp of 230F, but this is highly dependent on the size of the oil cooler and oil cooler lines. I only want to buy one of these if my desired thermostat is already installed.
