First of all I don't understand the comments that it doesn't fit the Startech stand. I have a Startech 4 Post Rack (4POSTRACK25U) and the red ones fit perfectly. They even fit in my NavePoint 2 25U rack. They are very easy to use. My 2-post rack is used as a network lab where I constantly add, remove, and move equipment. With RackStuds, this process is very simple. Less swearing and no damaged fingers! They have been holding my very heavy 2U UPS with no play for 3 months now, even my heavy Cisco 9K switch with no play. Advantages: 1. Easy to install2. Easy to remove.3. The long threaded bolt makes it easy to install the device.4. The nuts are easy to tighten by hand, I haven't had to use a screwdriver before. Cons: 1. Only hold 44 pounds. I got close but didn't check them out fully. Each of my UPS weighs 34.5 pounds while the Cisco 9k weighs 29 pounds.2. From time to time part of the washer will not fully seat when pressed by hand. My solution is to quickly put the nut on and then take it off again. It works like a charm.
