Inexpensive lead acid battery test works good
Bought a returned item that was deemed cosmetic damage for $14 and was cosmetically perfect. The problem was that the counter didn't work. I opened it up and the coil spring wire connection was poorly soldered resulting in an open connection. I fixed it and now it works great. The load resistance is 11.2mΞ©, slightly less than the usual target of 12mΞ©. for 12V @ 100 amps. I'll probably plug in a DMM connector to get high precision voltage readings that an analog panel meter can't do, so the state of charge can be more easily determined.
