Softclose mounted in wrong location & Directions need improvements

Issues.1.) Soft close drilled at wrong location - the left side of the bar appears to be drilled and tapped for soft close in the wrong location. This is preventing you from from placing the door stop in the correct location. One work around might be that you can get away without it since the soft close mechanism will act as your door stop now. If you wanted to use the door stop with the soft close then you'll need to drill & tap a pair of new mounting holes. The original holes were blind holes, meaning that the holes were not drilled all the way through the bar (for asthetics). I may just end up contacting this vendor to see if they have a updated bar with the holes drilled in the correct location.2.) Installation directions - I don't see any issues working with millimeters, but the bar installed height caused the bottom of my door clearance to be about ¾" too high even though I triple checked my measurements. I ended up taking the bar back down, spackling the holes, and re-painting the area. My recommendation would be to mount the rollers on the door & prefit the door to get a better idea where you want your floor to bottom of door clearance to be (make sure to take into account the floor guide you end up using. I opted for a roller guide instead of notching the bottom of the door).
