Trailer lights with better lighting

These lights are NOT waterproof! Where the wires exit each headlamp from the assembly, water can enter each headlamp directly. Even the transparent license plate is not waterproof! When I opened the box that contained both taillights, the shipping box was undamaged. After removing both lights from the plastic wrap they were in, I found a 2 inch tear on the side of the rear license plate light. Why is this happening? Tomorrow I will try to install these two lamps. If everything goes right. I will not add anything further to this review.
