I am very happy with this tea cosy. I was very skeptical about some of the options available. Aren't two ceramic teapots too heavy or too big for the base? How much heat can 1 tealight give off? I am very pleased to report that I have chosen the Cairo Premium teapot warmer which has a solid base instead of the three legs that some others had and both ceramic teapots fit superbly. They don't slip and stay in place. As for the heat from my metal teapot, the tealight glows so intensely that I can hear it starting to boil. Now I can use my pottery that I didn't use before. I actually bought a restaurant style metal kettle as the metal holds the heat a bit longer. No longer! I can search for ceramic teapots that I think are beautiful to look at and to hold. My metal kettle is in the back of the closet. The Cairo heating pad came with 1 tea light candle and honestly I'll see if I can buy more from GROSCHE or find out where they get them. I got 7 hours plus from one candle. Reading a tea candle was most often recommended from 4 to 6 hours. I am very comfortable.
