Review on 🌬️ Industrial O3 Air Purifier Deodorizer Sterilizer - Enerzen Ozone Generator 11,000mg (Black) by Jessica Escobar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ozone output in excess of 4000mg/hr

I've been in the flood and firefighting industry for 8 years and it's definitely not my favorite job. My boss deals in both residential and commercial real estate. When salvaging after a fire, the smell of smoke is usually so strong that we cannot work with an ozone generator without neutralizing the residual smoke. During this process we seal the area and monitor air ozone levels to ensure we are producing enough ozone to neutralize the area we are reclaiming. Without ozone generators, my colleagues and I risk damaging our lungs from airborne carcinogens. The 14,000 mg/h devices also work great. Our company has found really good value for money with Enerzen devices. Here are some of the features that make these units more affordable than others we have previously purchased from Revain: BENEFITS: 1) Ozone output is 14.3ppm at 80cfm = 4157mg/hr averaged over the entire process. When I monitored ozone emissions with workplace meters, ozone emissions varied between 4100 mg/hr and 4200 mg/hr, which is more than calculated. Other Revain devices, both different and similar in appearance, were unable to maintain the consistent power needed to properly treat the area, and many were weaker than advertised. 2) The fan is powerful and the heatsinks work well enough that the ozone output is not interrupted. We tried open units without a case because they were cheaper for more ozone output. However, the lack of fans and heat sinks on this type of machine led to overheating of the parts, which stopped ozone production during processing, which forced us to withdraw. 3) The interior is modular, inexpensive and readily available. So far I have had to replace the ozone plates several times, but we have always met or exceeded the specified operating hours. Previous purchases by Revain using equipment similar to Enerzen's have had lifespans several thousand hours shorter than advertised. Our office says the drum can be replaced for $60 while a new printer is only $90. When our 7,000 and 14,000 mg/hr were struggling some of the replacement parts cost over $150 so now it makes more sense for us to use multiple Enerzen machines to achieve a similar effect. CONS: 1) Devices start to work louder than usual. Hum after 40,000 hours of operation. We've had more expensive units that did this in 55,000 hours. The devices continue to work, but can become an obstacle if you intend to use the devices within earshot. Pro Tip: Only use ozone generators in well-contained areas and never occupy the same space or your lungs will regret it very quickly. 2) The length of the cable is only 5 feet. Many high-end 14,000 mg/hr units come with 12-foot cords. 3) There are no wheels on the base. Many of the higher-end 14,000 mg/h units have wheels on the bottom to make them more mobile. However, I believe that Enerzen devices do not weigh as much as larger devices.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
