Great tent bed for the money!

Tent used on a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. This tent is very cheap, very good quality and works well. Two adults slept in this tent, a 75 lb dog, a 16 lb dog and a 5 lb dog. The instructions are easy to follow and everything is colored. However, installing it was a bit of work the first time. This was mainly due to finding all the convenient places to attach and set up the tent. Otherwise it was a breeze. We leveled the truck body with moveable pads before laying down the tent for extra padding and to protect the tent from the rough surface of the truck body. The zippers are good quality, they pinch a bit when the fabric is loose. but that is the case with most tents. The stitching seems well done and strong, I pulled hard on a couple of straps during installation and they held up well. The hook and net at the top of the tent are great! We hung a small lantern with no problem. We also put glasses and phones online, they stayed in place with no problems. The windows are well positioned, there are even small vents on either side if you just need some fresh air but don't want the windows open. We liked that it walked all the way to the edge of our back door, it's a really good place to kick off your shoes before entering the tent. On top of that, there is an awning that protrudes above it, which offers protection against rain when getting in and out. We had strong winds at the campsite so we had to take the tent down. but it goes with almost everything. But the tent has proven itself very well! Overall we are happy with this purchase and really don't need more for a truck tent. This was our first use so we'll see how it holds up in the future.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
