As many reviewers point out, there is a fundamental design flaw here that the manufacturer was able to fix very easily: the lid is tight on both sides , There is a gap between the lid and the shaker lid through which the product is dispensed. This means that when you open the lid, the granules of your product will squirt out. Reviewers note the use of different materials to solve this problem, and in my case I simply cut out a few circles from thin cardboard, just the right size to hold firmly in the lid to fill that gap and avoid splattering . That works great. But the thing is, the decision is up to the manufacturer, and I can't give more than three stars to a product with a fundamental, easily fixable design flaw. However, after modification, it is perfect. Many have commented that it's quite small and I agree that it's smaller than I expected when I ordered it. But in my case it's good - it fits perfectly in the side pocket of my lunch bag.
