Bought this for camping after years of carrying a zippered bag of McDonald's salt and pepper packets. I was finishing a trip and thought it was time for an upgrade. Well I just got my shaker and as another reviewer said I used gorilla tape but instead of trying to cut an exact 7/8 inch circle with my X-Acto knife I used just glued a 2 inch piece. Tape my bench, put a nickel on it, carefully cut the coin and peeled off a perfectly round circle of tape from the bench attached to the center of the cap. GSI 79500 Pepper Salt Shaker - Overall I really like this product. It's thick, hard plastic and looks solid. "Shaker" lids snap on/off for easy filling. not symmetrical - the salt compartment is 1.44 deep and holds about 2-3/4 teaspoons of table salt.
