Review on Outboard Gasket Johnson Evinrude 18 7352 by Jason Porter

I own a marine business and purchased this product on an Evinrude engine for customers. They got stuck just 30 minutes after entering the water. I made the decision to go to the water with them and it ended up costing me 6 hours of work that I couldn't calculate. So what I found all said and done was the gasket dissolved and turned to a pulp, then got into the fuel line, got to the carburetors and clogged them. I had to remove all the carburetors, clean them and flush the fuel lines. I've tried making a new gasket for it, but the pump itself is worthless and it still won't pump fuel into the carburetor. I've been doing this for a long time and I've never seen anything like it. I spoke to a friend and he said he has the same thing but because of the gaskets on the carburetors. From now on only original spare parts, no cheap spare parts.
