Review on 🏗️ Telesteps 1800EP Telescoping Ladder, with One-Touch Release, OSHA Compliant, 14.5 ft Extended Height, Up to 18 ft Reach, Wide Pro Step, Telescoping Extension Ladder by Daryl Barton

Solidly made, promising, but not for me because of two things. The main reason is that the top metal rung is touching the wall, not the rubber ends (if not fully extended, the ladder will only extend with the rungs folded on top). In my job I'm judged because I look wrong in the mirror, I can't scratch the walls. Another reason: Often when exiting the attic through a trapdoor, I'll lower the ladder one rung to lean it against the nearest wall to put the trapdoor back in place. This ladder cannot do that. Once you hit the breakdown buttons, what happens next is bittersweet. Many times you have enjoyed it as it shatters and watched as it slowly slides back into a compact almost on its own. it's a relieving experience, I have to admit. Often you find that once it starts it can't be stopped and if you just need to lower it a notch you have to dismantle it completely and widen it again. Those two points didn't justify the price of the ladder, so I sent it back. (The picture is poor, but the lack of a flash makes my first thought clearer)
