Thank god my dog is still a puppy and doesn't understand that just touching these gates with his nose will knock him over! The slats are not straight, but all curved in different directions. The top and bottom of the gate aren't straight either, so it hardly stands up. One of the planks is shorter than the others, but luckily it stays in place pretty well when laid straightest side down! What garbage! My husband said he was even surprised that I had to PAY for this thing, it's that bad! It's not worth the time or effort to get it back so I'm hoping it lasts long enough for my pup to crack so I can put this thing back in place. Into the trash!
