The quality is mediocre. However, this works well in places where it is impossible to attach the gate to the wall, e.g. B. We have an entrance with baseboard insulation on one side of the wall so it is not possible to fix the gate at that point. . Foldable wooden gates are a good solution. It won't work with a braver dog - our Beagle is a docile and gentle cat, slightly shy, so she's likely to be startled unconscious if pushed. So we haven't had any problems.

Broken design Best in arenas

So-so. It arrived cracked, with a few bent beams, of the thinnest wood possible, with uneven unfinished stain. But worst of all, this gate couldn't stop the dog from entering the room. It's built to fold — if it's not folded, it won't stand up — but that means if a dog (or person) just bumps into it, it *opens* and either makes room. or fall. And there's no way to mount it to the wall (other than drill and mount it yourself). It would have been more effective to just run the tape over the door…

Perfect for the Christmas tree border!

Perfect for what I need it for! Not for a pet but as an easy border around my tree to keep little toddlers from touching the tree and moving around! These are two gates and I attached them to a stationary object on each side and also placed lanterns, garland, ribbon and burlap on top to hold the gate together. When my toddler pushes it it just sort of moves but doesn't fall over because I secured it. However, unless you have a tiny little dog, I see no point in keeping a pet at bay. Update…

Terrible quality!: Doors, gates and ramps

Thank god my dog is still a puppy and doesn't understand that just touching these gates with his nose will knock him over! The slats are not straight, but all curved in different directions. The top and bottom of the gate aren't straight either, so it hardly stands up. One of the planks is shorter than the others, but luckily it stays in place pretty well when laid straightest side down! What garbage! My husband said he was even surprised that I had to PAY for this thing, it's that bad! It's…

Ridiculous! - Doors, gates and ramps

I read all the reviews on this product and noticed that several buyers had problems with the quality of this gate. However, as I wanted a freestanding, small gate, my choices were very limited. So I bought it with the risks in mind. However, I did not expect that the risks could include deformation and collapse without being touched by an animal or human after 3 weeks of use. I posted pictures so any potential buyer can see what happened to our gate. It would be really nice if this manufacturer

It's a piece of something.

The great thing about this product is that it can be returned. This is exactly what I settled on before it was half out of the box. You can also order scotch tape and three pieces of cardboard for posters. I actually had to visit the manufacturer to see if they also make shards and bubble wrap as that is apparently what they use to make these gates. We have a fairly large Shih Tzu who is probably 90% blind, and after a few seconds I realized that there was a good chance that when I got home I'd

This is my minus, not the fault of this product

After reading a lot of negative reviews, for such a price I decided to try. I just wanted to keep a heavy haired large dog out of the dining room and the doorway in this part of the house is 50 inches with a sloping wall so a solid gate would not fit. Little dogs have already figured out how to jump over it. Gate by throwing yourself off the next bench in the hallway. This is my fault, not the fault of the product. The bottom center wood joint failed after a day, but a 6-inch sample of tape…

abominable. I mean. FABULOUS! UPDATE:

Two weeks ago I ordered 3 of these gates. When received the color was washed mahogany, the spindles were round and mostly warped. The frames were broken and deformed in several places. But what the hell. I can fix anything and it was cheap. SO. I ordered 4 more (I know. I'm crazy). But wait. The ones I just received are painted with WALNUT (though not very well). Spindles are SQUARE and STRAIGHT. The frames as well as the spindles are GLUED and STRAIGHT. THIS IS VERY GOOD! AND HOW IS IT…
