This wall mount is strong enough for my road bike and the clamp works great. I gained some portability and flexibility by mounting it to a modified motor stand (as shown in the photo) rather than wall mounting it. The head of the motor stand rotates, allowing either end of the bike to be raised or lowered for a comfortable working height. The stand has wheels so it can be easily moved. I like the wall mount for my application.
